The Armenian Mineral Sampler includes 20ml each of five distinct pigments, each with its own unique characteristics and hues. Zeolite, a natural aluminosilicate mineral, is sourced from the Lori province and boasts a captivating green color. Yellow Travertine, a type of limestone, is extracted from the slopes of Lalvar mountain and contains small amounts of iron oxide, giving it a pale yellow-beige tint. Orange Travertine, also sourced from the Lori province, contains iron oxide that imparts an orange tint. Violet Grey Lalvarit, a type of andesite rock, is extracted from the same region and owes its unique violet hue to iron and manganese oxide impurities. Lastly, Red Barite, composed of barite, hematite, quartz, and clay, is sourced from the vicinity of Akhtala and features a vibrant red color due to the presence of hematite or red iron oxide.

These natural pigments have been used for centuries in Armenian art, from early ceramics to religious iconography.
