Aurum genuine pure, heavy silver leaf is produced using the latest technology and respected traditions of the gold beating craft. Available as loose (surface) and patent (adhered) leaves in books and packs.
Each book of loose silver leaf is assembled by placing each silver leaf between sheets of thin rouged paper. The gilder can then remove one leaf at a time without disturbing the remaining leaves. It is removed from the book with a gilder's tip, a flat natural hairbrush.
Each book of patent silver leaf is assembled by lightly adhering each silver leaf on sheets of thin paper. The gilder can then remove one leaf/sheet at a time without disturbing the remaining leaves. Each sheet is removed from the book by hand.
