The 3M™ Roloc™ Shank allows 3M™ Roloc™ Disc Pads to fit a collet on a die grinder or disc sander, or a drill chuck on a drill. The 1/4-inch (6 mm) external threads fit Roloc™ Disc Pads with 1/4-20 internal threads.

In two diameters— 1/4 inch or 6 mm— our 3M™ Roloc™ Shank enables you to secure a Roloc ™ backup pad to a die grinder or disc sander, adding versatility to tools you may already own.
The short, 2-inch (51 mm) shaft of the 3M™ Roloc™ Shank keeps the abrasive closer to the tool, resulting in less vibration and more precise operator control.
Quick Change Attachment for Greater Productivity
Our Roloc™ quick change discs are smaller discs that have a plastic threaded button or screw designed to attach to a Roloc™ disc pad. Operators can conveniently change discs with a simple twist-off, twist-on motion. The Roloc system provides a secure attachment even for heavy-duty applications, and the variety of available 3M Roloc discs allows swapping from one application to the next in seconds.
