Description
The colours are semi-translucent and can be used directly from the bottle, eliminating the need for thinning into washes before application. However, if you prefer to airbrush, simply mix the paint with a solvent and you're good to go. The M-Series colours are highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way, making them an economical choice for artists. The range includes Olive Tan (M-101) for adding depth and warmth to skin tones, Tan (M-102) for a natural-looking glow, Dark Tan (M-103) for darker skin tones, Warm Blush (M-104) for a soft, rosy hue, Blush (M-105) for a healthy, pinkish glow, Deep Blush (M-106) for a cooler, more dramatic look, Yellow (M-107) for adding an olive tone to skin or fatty tissue, and Blue (M-108) for creating veins or a bluer, more mauvy blush.
FuseFX Silicone Paint is an unparalleled system that combines versatility and ease of use. This two-component, Platinum-cure Silicone paint is specifically developed for medical prosthesis, special effects prosthetic, and artisanal applications. The paint is brushable and can be thinned down with a solvent to produce a sprayable silicone paint. For optimal results, it's essential to paint the silicone skin or surface as soon as possible after demolding, ideally within two days.
To ensure a successful application, it's crucial to clean all surfaces that will come into contact with the FuseFX Paint. Remove any contaminants, including mold release, and allow the surface to dry before painting. When mixing the paint, combine equal amounts of "COLOR" and Part "A" and stir until you achieve a uniform colour. The paint is then ready to use, with a pot life of 10 minutes, or 45 minutes with the addition of a solvent. The paint takes about two hours to become tack-free.
To get the most out of your FuseFX M-Series Silicone Paint, we recommend layering colours, building up the intensity of the colour as you go. This technique gives you more control over the final result and allows you to achieve a level of realism that's unmatched in the industry. Between colour applications, be sure to cure the paint thoroughly, using a hair dryer to speed up the process if desired. Remember to exercise caution when working with combustible or flammable solvents and observe all safety precautions to avoid accidents.
With the Fusefx M-Series Silicone Paint, the possibilities are endless. Whether you're creating realistic skin tones for film, television, or theatrical applications or crafting intricate dolls and prosthetics, this paint system is the ultimate tool for achieving unparalleled realism. So why settle for anything less? Choose the Fusefx M-Series Silicone Paint and unleash your full creative potential.
