FuseFX Silicone Paint is a game-changer in the world of medical prosthesis, special effects prosthetic, artisans, and doll makers. This two-component Platinum-cure Silicone paint system is not only versatile but also incredibly easy to use. The paint is brushable and can be thinned down with a solvent to produce a sprayable silicone paint, making it perfect for a wide range of applications. To achieve the best results, it's essential to paint the silicone skin/surface as soon as possible after demolding, ideally within two days of creation.

One of the key benefits of FuseFX paint is its compatibility with Platinum-Based silicones only. However, if you need to use Tin-Based silicones, you can do so by applying a coat of BondFX paint to the surface first. Before applying the paint, make sure all surfaces are contaminant-free by cleaning them with a solvent such as Toluene, Xylene, or Naphtha, and allowing them to dry before painting.

FuseFX paint is a highly pigmented Platinum Silicone paint that offers unmatched results. A little goes a long way, so start by mixing equal amounts of "COLOR" and Part "A", stirring until the mixture is uniform in color. Once mixed, your paint is ready to use, with a pot life of 10 minutes, or 45 minutes when using a solvent. For brushing, use the paint straight from the mix, or add up to 1 part of solvent to the amount of silicone for washes.

Airbrushing requires a different approach, where you may need up to 1.5 or 2 times the amount of solvent to the amount of paint. To achieve the best results, layer your colors, building up the intensity as you go, and cure between colors. You can speed up the curing process by using a hair dryer, but be cautious when working with flammable solvents.

In summary, the FuseFX TK-Series Trial Kit is the perfect introduction to the world of FuseFX paints. With its versatility, ease of use, and highly pigmented formula, this paint system is ideal for medical prosthesis, special effects prosthetic, artisans, doll makers, and anyone looking to achieve professional-looking results.
