Donna Salazar

Donna Salazar

Donna fell in love with art and her husband in high school. A lot has changed in the last 20+ years but these two loves remain the same. A mixed media artist at heart, Donna loves to experiment with “cross-crafting”. She loves to sew, knit, paint, and draw, but she especially loves paper crafting. Donna sees the beauty that surrounds her in everyday life… from a dusty wood floor to a frilly piece of lace, you will see Donna blending contrasting elements together to create her “Girlie Grunge” look. Donna teaches technique heavy classes in stores, at large events, online, and you can even view her web show “Tuesday Tutorials” for FREE every other Tuesday. And, if you go to her website (www.donnasalazar.com) you can see the product that will be used on her “Tuesday Tutorials” show so you can play along at home. After a small introduction to designing with Pinecone Press (at Summer CHA 2009) she had her first major launch of “Donna Salazar Products” at Winter CHA - January 2010, which included 4 paper lines, her Crafty Chronicle, 24 stamps, and her “Distrezz-it-all” tool (tool created in partnership with Zutter). Her Summer CHA release – July 2010, had 3 paper lines, Her Musical Memories, 24 stamps (8 of which coordinate with Spellbinder dies), Corrugated Board packs (for Zutter), Art Frames, and her very own color collection of Smooch Spritz from Clearsnap.
